Here is my budget for April. Pretty much exactly the same as March, except an increase in Travel and Clothing (budgeting for the outlet mall trip – still not sure if I’m going or not, but better to budget for it than not). My Personal Care is at $50 because I’m going to get a hair cut.
April Goals:
- Exercise 15x. Probably going to be the gym for the most part, since BF is away climbing in Europe for 2 weeks. If I exercise twice in one day, I’m only counting it as 1x.
- Only buy lunch a maximum of 2 times. I like to limit myself to buying my lunches only on pay day.
- No buying snacks from Tim Horton’s or 7-11. I am totally guilty of just running out and grabbing something for a morning or afternoon snack. This is bad for my budget and my waistline!
- $300 into Retirement Portfolio.
- $600 into Travel Fund.
- Stay within $150 clothing budget. I am getting a gorgeous necklace custom made for me on Etsy.com, so that should cost about $30 after s&h.
- Make an extra $150. It can be through blogging or mystery shopping or my PT job.
- Do something social with someone new, or someone I haven’t seen in a long time. By “long time” I mean someone I haven’t hung out with in 3 months or more.
- Organize the boxes under my bed. I want to get rid of things I do not need (trash or charity).
