I had a pretty good time this weekend. It was great to see old friends and to be back at my PT job. I especially missed hanging out with my sister, so I spent most of my time with her. I’ll be back though in 2 weeks, and probably during the long weekend next month as well.
My aunt is a travel agent, and she gave my mom a bunch of adventure travel booklets for BF and I to read through. Of course, I wouldn’t want to book tours like that (don’t want to travel in a group, and it’s really expensive!), but it is definitely giving me ideas about where I’d like to go and the kinds of sights I’d like to see when going through those countries.
Here is a breakdown of what I spent:
Friday
$13 ferry
$0 dinner (my sister treated me to bubble tea and dinner)
Saturday
$0 lunch (my mom paid)
$6.47 gas station (snacks for me and my sister)
$5.25 Starbucks (tea for me, coffee for my sister)
$25 dinner + double caesar at White Spot
Sunday
$9(?) Tim Hortons (breakfast for my sister and I, and my boss). I forgot to ask for a receipt so I’m not exactly sure how much I spent. Not more than $9 though.
$13 ferry
Total = $71.72 (approximate)
I ended up making about $150 at the PT job, which I’m happy about. I anticipated making $175 this month at the PT job, but since I didn’t go home last weekend, I only thought I’d be able to bring in half the amount. But I went into work early and stayed late both days on the weekend in order to maximize my earnings.
