Overpaid my cell phone bill

I accidentally paid my Rogers bill twice last month, so when I received my invoice for this month, I was surprised to see a credit balance of $11.11! And, I’m happy to see that my cell phone bill is slowly coming down in price. It used to be around $60-65/month when I still had my old phone number, but ever since I switched over to a Vancouver number, my bills are creeping back down to under $40 after taxes and fees. I should be able to get it back down to the $36 that it was at before I moved to the mainland.

And if you’re wondering why I don’t just get my Rogers bill automatically deducted from my bank account or credit card every month, it’s because once you pay your invoice, you have acknowledged and agreed to the charges on the bill. At least that’s how it worked when I used to work in a call centre for a cell phone company. And besides, I don’t want to pay for anything until I’ve had the time to look over the invoice and make sure everything’s correct.
