Changing my RRSP contributions

I just upped my RRSP contributions from $100/bi-weekly to $150/bi-weekly. It’s not a big difference, but every bit counts.

Also, I’ve decided to leave the existing money in my RRSPs in the accounts that they’re in. Since I have over $20k right now – most of it is in fixed income funds – that money I will use towards the First Time Home Buyer’s Plan when I eventually decide to buy a property. All new monies will be allocated evenly into International, USA, and Canadian funds through TD.

I think this is the best compromise for me, between needing stability in the short-term and looking for growth long-term.
