Last night was our 1-year anniversary. I bought BF a Montreal Canadiens jersey – something that he’s been wanting for a long time … and I also baked him a pumpkin pie. Which he has already eaten half of. :) He bought me roses, a muffin tray (I’ve been wanting one for AGES), a touque, and a really awesome hoodie/jacket that I tried on at Valhalla Pure the other day. Tomorrow I’m meeting up with some friends from my old job. I’m really excited to see them. We haven’t all hung out together in at least a month, so it’ll be nice. Especially because we all haven’t hung out since my ex-boss left his job, so I’ll need to get the whole story. They all decided to go to Earls for dinner. I don’t really want to be spending more money on dining out, but I think it will be okay. We don’t do this very often. Today I’m definitely having a Case of the Mondays. After a fabulous weekend, I really do not feel like being here at work today. The gloomy, foggy weather outside isn’t helping this overwhelming feeling of blah. This was the first weekend BF and I have spent together in 6 weeks, and the first weekend in the city together in over 2 months. It was nice.
