I’m going home this weekend (again) to work. I’m getting sick and tired of traveling so much (I’ve traveled 7 weekends in a row), so I’m kind of glad that after this weekend, I won’t be traveling home again until the weekend before Christmas. Although, next weekend BF and I are going hiking, and the weekend after that we’re going camping for our 1 year anniversary. BF is driving me to the ferry terminal and picking me up, so transportation will only be $27.30 round trip. I don’t plan on doing much this weekend. I want to get a lot … Continue reading
This evening was fun. BF picked me up from work, and we went to a little Vietnamese restaurant around where he lives. This was our 3rd time there, and it’s quickly becoming “our place” for dinner. Previous to Elizabeth Arden, I was using Avène, which is specifically for sensitive, dry skin. Anyway, I was in London Drugs shopping for a new moisturizer and eye cream. They had an awesome deal where if you buy an Avène face cream, you get the eye cream ($22 value) for free. I bought the Hydrance Optimale Light for $34. Which is so much cheaper than the EA stuff I’m used to using. Plus, … Continue reading
I was talking to a friend yesterday about money. I was lamenting about not having saved as much as I would have liked to save this year. I don’t like talking about money with friends, so I didn’t really go into detail about it, I just casually mentioned it. He told me to look at my good friends. He asked, how many of them could we really call “successful,” 2.5 years out of college. I mean, he’s right. Most of my friends are still up to their eyeballs in debt, and working low-paying jobs that they despise. Not that finance … Continue reading
