Back on the mainland

This weekend was exhausting, but fun as always.

BF drove me to the ferry on Friday night. Then my sister and I went to the movie store with good intentions to watch a movie … but by the time we got home, all we wanted to do was watch Planet Earth. My parents just bought a new TV and a blu-ray player, so we watched a few episodes before falling asleep.

Saturday I got up early and went for breakfast with a friend. Then we went Christmas shopping. Or rather, I tagged along for a while until my hair appointment. After that, I went to work. I love my co-workers very much, but it’s just not the same as last year. Last year, I felt like I could talk to them and hang out with them. We even became Facebook friends. :) But this year, most of those people have moved on. A few are left, but it’s just not the same. Anyway, that night a friend and I rented What Happens in Vegas, which, PS, is a horrible movie. Cameron Diaz needs to start playing roles that are closer to her age, because she certainly looked too old to be playing that role. She looked so crusty. Although, her body is still to die for.

Sunday, I went for lunch with my family, then went for coffee with a friend. And then when I got back to Vancouver, I had a relaxing evening with BF.
