Going home again this weekend

I’m going home this weekend (again) to work. I’m getting sick and tired of traveling so much (I’ve traveled 7 weekends in a row), so I’m kind of glad that after this weekend, I won’t be traveling home again until the weekend before Christmas. Although, next weekend BF and I are going hiking, and the weekend after that we’re going camping for our 1 year anniversary.

BF is driving me to the ferry terminal and picking me up, so transportation will only be $27.30 round trip. I don’t plan on doing much this weekend. I want to get a lot of rest, because the last few weeks have been pretty busy … and I’ve still got a little bit of a cold.

My sister and I are going to get our hair cut. I have been putting off this appointment for so long, because I’ve wanted to go to my regular hair stylist … but she’s always booked up solid. And, she’s getting more and more expensive now that she’s at a new salon and is one of their top stylists. So, we both have appointments at a popular salon downtown for $35 each. That’s a bargain compared to the $60 (before tip) I’m used to paying.

Usually I come out cash-positive whenever I visit home, but because I’m getting my hair cut this weekend, I’ll probably break even.
