My bridesmaid dress doesn’t fit at all

My friend who’s getting married in less than 2 weeks sent me my bridesmaid dress on Thursday, and I received it on Friday. It is literally 2 ft. too long for me. And the bust will most definitely need to be taken in. It’s a size 9/10. I’m a size 4. Why did this happen? I don’t know, but it’s too late to send it back to her and have a new one ordered. But, I need the dress for next Thursday at the very very latest … and I’ve called about 5 different bridal stores, and none of them do alterations for dresses that haven’t been purchased from them.

So, I’m in an interesting predicament. Not really sure what to do. I suppose I could take the dress to a regular seamstress, but I’d feel more comfortable taking it to someone who specializes in dress alterations.

And I still haven’t purchased silver shoes yet …
