Fashion advice, please!
I bought the dress that I’m going to wear to my friend’s wedding in Ontario. It’s from BCBG Max Azaria … and I think it’s gorgeous. Perhaps not exactly wedding-appropriate, but I figured it was the most versatile dress I was looking at. I’ll be able to wear it again to BF’s company Christmas party, and to whatever weddings I attend next year as well.
I got it off eBay, and after taxes and everything, it was $58.49. Pretty good for a dress that was originally priced at $360! :) I budgeted $100 for a new dress, so that will give me enough play room to get some accessories. And no, it’s not a fake either. It’s brand new with tags … 100% silk, and it has adjustable shoulder straps, which is great because I usually find straps too long. Especially with my last BCBG dress.
But, now I’m torn. What colour shoes do I wear? And what kind!? And on that note, what should I wear to cover up my shoulders? My initial reaction is a shawl of some sort, because I thought a cardigan would perhaps be too bulky with a silk dress … and then what colour of shawl?
Help, please!?
