The interview July 7, 2008

I think they liked my presentation (and my mad PowerPoint skillz), and I did well on the interview questions (they were all behavioral). The copy editing assignment went decently too. I just had to edit a letter and then re-write a paragraph for the web. All in all, the interview took 1.5 hrs.
I know they’re doing interviews all today and tomorrow, and I was the first person they interviewed. Chances are, most of the people will be more qualified than me – with more related experiences. So I think that my only chance is if they see something in me, or they really like my personality. I’ve won jobs based on my personality before, so it could happen again … I’m just not going to count on it.
The Director said he would contact me by the end of tomorrow to let me know. Chances are I didn’t get the job, but the interview was a really good experience.
Except that parking cost me $7.50. What a rip-off!
