A walk, a dinner and a movie

Last night, BF and I went for a walk around his neighbourhood, and then we went out to an Indian restaurant for dinner. We probably should have stayed at his place and cooked up something … but I was expecting to buy dinner tonight (we’re going to that show on Granville Island), and that’s not happening anymore (he has to run an errand before we head out), so I didn’t mind going out last night. It was delicious. I heart Indian food a lot. We shared an appetizer, and each got an entree with rice and nan. BF treated, which was super sweet of him … and there was enough left over for him to take in his lunch today.

Anyway, after that, we went to rent a movie. I paid, since he bought dinner. He decided on Awake, which I was apprehensive about, since I really do not do well with watching surgeries or blood or any sort of incisions into the human body. But I was hopeful that it would only have a few really gory bits. So it was a real shame when the entire movie was just full of random, disgusting shots of surgery. I stopped watching about 30 min. in. :) Oh well. But on a side note for my female readers, Hayden Christensen was looking sexy as hell in that movie … and I’m not even a fan (Star Wars, with that gross little braid? No thank you). He’s a local Vancouver boy as well. And for the guys, Jessica Alba is in that movie, and let’s be honest here – she smokin’ hot.
