BC Ferries hikes rates

BC Ferries has decided to hike their rates. Again. Currently I pay $11.80 for a one-way ticket, and starting April 1st, it will jump to $13 (or $43 for a passenger and car). Awesome.

That just means the other ferry service from the island to Vancouver will get my business! Oh … wait. That’s right. There is no other service. BC Ferries is the only passenger ferry between the island and the mainland.

Oh, and also, the TSX lost 427.32 points today.

But that’s okay. The TSX can continue to be a volatile jerk, and BC Ferries can keep hiking up their rates for all I care. $13? Is that the best you can do? Why don’t you grow some balls and start charging $50 for a one-way ticket?!

BRING IT ON!

I never really liked my money anyway.
