So I’m going to try to flip a pair of concert tickets for the first time ever. I have 2 pairs of tickets to the Ryan Adams show – one pair cost $100 (8th row floor) from Ticketmaster, and the other pair cost $185 (3rd row floor) from StubHub. I’m going to try to sell the 8th row tickets on eBay with a starting bid of $185. That way, at least I’ll get my money back from the more expensive pair (less eBay/PayPal fees), and if I get anything more than $185, that’ll just be a bonus.
I’m pretty confident I can do this, as tickets to this event are practically sold out. And the only reason I’m doing it is because I really don’t want to sit 8th row. It’s so far away from the stage! For any other artist, I wouldn’t really care (we’re sitting 10th row for Mika when he comes to Vancouver) … but you all know how I feel about Mr. Ryan Adams. 3rd row is barely passable, but the 1st row tickets were going for $250 each, and that was way out of my price range.
And if you’re wondering if it was worth it to pay $85 more for us to sit 5 rows closer, the answer would be yes, a million times over.
