75% done my Christmas shopping

Christmas shopping. I’m grateful that this year, I don’t have many people to buy for. In fact, I only have 4 people that require gifts. A few years ago, the cousins stopped exchanging gifts, and with most of my friends, we just agree not to buy gifts for each other. On the rare year, we’ll do a Secret Santa, but we usually have a limit of $30.

• Mom: $110 J. Crew coat – I split this cost with my sister, so the coat really cost about $220. It was expensive, but I know she’ll love it.

• Sister: $65 J. Crew sweater – I still want to buy her something else, something smaller that’s a little more personal. I won’t go over $35 though, as we usually cap our presents to each other at $100.

• Dad: (estimated) $50 running shoes – I also split this cost with my sister, so we figured the shoes would cost around $100 in total. We have yet to find the exact shoes he’s looking for, but we’re on the hunt.

I’m actually right on track with what I would usually spend on Christmas presents – around $300. Still undecided as to what else to get my sister. My Mom’s present is a little more expensive than usual (my sister and I usually try to get the gift down to around $50 each), but we bought it so long ago that it doesn’t really feel that bad.
