I have a job interview tomorrow for a Communications Manager position with a local community services organization. I’m really excited because I dealt a lot with this organization with my previous job, and I respect what they do. I also think that’s one of the reasons why I got the interview – because we were so closely linked together, and it’s in the same general area (about 30 min. away from the city). The job posting required 5+ years of experience, but I know I’m capable of doing the job if they were to take a chance on me.
… and I’m really going to have to give this interview everything I have, because I found out I did not get that job in Vancouver … nor did I get that job in Edmonton. The position in Northern Alberta just called my references, so that’s a good sign … but I’ve already decided against moving out there, so we’ll see what happens.
