I’m not getting my hopes up, but …

I have my first real bite on my resume. It’s for a Communications Coordinator position in Calgary, and the Director just left a message on my phone, asking me to call him to speak about the position. This also marks the first time I’ve been contacted for an out-of-province job.

The downfall is that this is a position with a not-for-profit organization … and it wouldn’t really make sense for me to move away to such an expensive city to take a position where I couldn’t meet any of the financial goals I’ve set for myself.

But, this is good news that my resume isn’t complete garbage. There just might just be hope for me yet!
