Some Wednesday Randomness

Things to do:

• A few weeks ago, I wrote a cheque for my initial deposit into my ING account. Well, it finally got cashed last week, but I have yet to call customer service to activate my account.

• Return a $30 silk top I bought from Jacob. I realized I didn’t need it, nor did it really fit me properly.

• Mail off my $50 rebate for my new cell phone.

• Figure out how to get the $37 owed to me from my Amazon sales into my bank account. Apparently the cheque routing numbers I provided were incorrect … but I checked them again, and they’re right! Frustration.

Confessions:

• I ate a whole bag of sour patch kids at work today, and now my tongue is raw and hurts like hell.

• Bought a $50 shirt from Banana Republic over the weekend while I was in Vancouver, and ripped the tags off thinking I would wear it to the concert … didn’t end up wearing it, and now I can’t return it. I’m really mad at myself for this one. And also, it’s one of those loose fitting tops, and while it’s beautiful, it kinda makes me look like I’m pregnant (I’m not). Yes, it’s one of those kinds of shirts. And by ‘those’ I mean that they only usually look good on stick skinny people. Which I am not (not that I’m fat). What was I thinking? Maybe I should sell it on eBay, but I probably wouldn’t come close to getting my money back on it, so it’s probably better just to keep it. Still undecided.

• Bought a black cotton/cashmere blend cardigan for $55 from The Gap. It was worth it, because I wore my old J. Crew cardigan to death. Had it for 6 years before it started to fade and look yucky. Since I’ve stopped wearing it, I’ve been on the hunt for a new one for about a year without any luck. A WHOLE YEAR! Who would have thought finding a simple black cardigan would be so hard.
