I definitely made the right job decision July 5, 2007
Posted by gmbmfb in : job , trackbackWell, I got an e-mail saying I didn’t get Job #1 because they went with someone who had more marketing experience. That’s too bad … but I knew I didn’t have enough experience to begin with so I’m not really disappointed. And I’m definitely glad I wasn’t counting on getting it. Not that it matters now, since I took Job #3, but I kept myself in the running for #1 and #4 just to see what would happen. I immediately called #2 to decline their second interview. I just wasn’t interviewing for a job just for the experience when I had already accepted another position.
I’m still waiting to hear about #4. My good friend who also got interviewed for it hasn’t heard from them either. She really really wants the job, so I hope she gets it. She’s got some tough competition though, including an old boss from the hockey team I work for (before my current boss took over the position).
