Second interviews and the waiting game…

Well, I had my 3 hr. long interview for Job #4 this morning. I did just okay. Not great, but okay. I don’t think I’ll get called back for another interview though. There are 4 other candidates, and I’m almost positive I’m not exactly what they’re looking for. It’s a great job and I definitely want it because it’d be good experience for me, and it’s exactly what I want to be doing. But there’s so much OT and weekend work involved with the position that I think it would interfere with my part-time job at the arena … and I’m not sure if I’m willing to give that job up just yet. The great part about Job #4 is the salary is more than I was expecting, and would come with a guaranteed 2 – 5% raise each year for the next 3 years, depending on job performance. After the 3 years, it would become a max of 3%/year raise. Anyway, I’m keeping my fingers crossed, and they said they’ll be in touch by next week.

On my way home from the interview, I got a call from Job #2, asking me to come back for a second interview on July 3rd!

I have yet to hear back from Job #1, but I don’t expect to until the end of this week or early next week.
