<description>One of the things that I&#039;m addicted to - which grew out of my glee in coupon-clipping - is visiting coupon/savings sites like SmartCanucks. The best features about those sites are all the online manufacturer freebies they post (most oftentimes through outlets like Facebook). I&#039;ve gotten SO many free full-sized grocery items and home supplies by always visiting these sites and ordering the &quot;free item&quot; coupons online.

Also, this may be a little extreme, but I am able to do all my online stuff on my smartphone with a 1GB data plan, which abled me to eliminate my home internet service. As a student, I have unlimited wifi on campus, so if I need to upload or download a larger file, I can do that there.

I also sold my bike, saving me from the cost of getting my bike stolen (which is SO common in my city), and bought a bike share membership, which allowed me to cut back on metro expenses, and frees me from the worry of how to get home when the metro has stopped running (before, I would just opt for cabs).

I take advantage of the perks that come with things such as purchasing drinks with a Starbucks gift card, which include free refills on drip coffee or tea if consumed in store, and free flavour shots! I never buy these gift cards on my own, I just use them when I receive them as gifts, and I use them to their fullest!

Thanks for all your work on this blog, it truly is inspiring!
